What we keep
- Your account — your email, name (if you give one), a scrambled form of your password (we can’t read it), and when and from which IP address you last logged in.
- Your purchases — PayPal processes payments; we receive your PayPal email, your plan, subscription status and payment amounts. We never see your card or bank details. See PayPal’s privacy statement.
- Your plan — its license key; for each PC or phone you sign in on, a random-looking device id (a one-way hash, not your name or hardware serials), its name if the app sends one, when it last checked in and the IP addresses it checked in from; and when two of your devices are used at the same time from different networks (to spot shared plans).
- Backups — the app settings you choose to back up. The apps leave out logins and passwords.
- Support, ideas and news — your support messages (and any screenshots you attach), ideas you post on the idea board and your votes, and — if you sign up for news without an account — your email and when you confirmed it.
- Visits — a count of views per page per day, plus the name of the website a visit came from (e.g. “google.com”) and any campaign tag in the link. No cookies, IP addresses or anything about who visited.
- Reviews — if you answer “How are we doing?”: your score, your words, and whether (and under what name) we may show them on the site.
- Password safety check — when you pick a password, the first 5 characters of a one-way fingerprint of it are checked against Have I Been Pwned’s list of leaked passwords. Your password itself never leaves our server.
What stays on your device
Your MeetMe logins, chat history and recordings stay on your device. The apps talk to MeetMe directly; they don’t send your MeetMe chats to us. Chat translation sends the message you choose to translate to the MyMemory translation service.
How we use it
Only to run your account, deliver and check your license (including stopping shared keys), store your backups, send important account emails, and answer support requests. We don’t sell it or use it for ads.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies it needs to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Your choices
Download a copy of your account data any time under My account › Login & security, or ask us at support@twistedstudio.live to delete it (deleting ends the license). Every news email has a one-click unsubscribe link. We keep payment records as long as the law requires. Twisted Studio is responsible for this data.
